Outdoor Light Protector

Image result for twist and seal mini cord protector

We look forward to putting out our Christmas lights every year and like to keep everything safe from the weather elements. Twist and Seal has a fine product that protects your connections during the harsh winter weather. Twist and Seal Mini keep your electrical connections dry due to the unique locking mechanism. It has a tough UV ray and commercial grade plastic outer case. Because we live on a little backyard farm we have to have electric flowing outside to our barn, brooders, and other farming activities using the Twist and Seal Mini's has been a nice comfort to us knowing that everything is staying dry from the rain. I like the design and how easy they are to use. We received ours for review purposes and no monies were exchanged.

vacation update

Up early this morning as Clay and I are getting back on to our schedule for work after he's been on vacation. During his vacation we sold the rabbits and we decided we would raise some quail. I am not sure if quail raising was done in the past but it certainly is worth looking into as it appears they are easily raised.

I thought you may enjoy a vintage post from our main blog :)
God bless and have a awesome day :)

Shop Your Way...
Today I posted a link on the sidebar for Shop Your Way .. this is actually part of Kmart and Sears and Lands End... Sears is rewarding you for shopping. I am not sure if you get rewarded for referrals to the link by sharing with your friends. As mom's we have to budget our time and money so it is well worth it to look into all the reward programs as they can pay you big with just a little effort. At one point Kmart had discounts for unemployed etc.. This site is also a great way to network and see what else is out there. Example type in sweepstakes and you may end up with a bunch, or find discounts for other products you love. friend me there too and let's all help each other SAVE!

Clay built a chicken plucker
It only takes 15 seconds to Pluck a chicken. I like knowing where my meat comes from and how they were fed so we like to eat as much of our own chicken we raise as we can. We only buy Cornish Rock Meat chickens as the ones that run all around the yard are like rubber when you go to eat them.
If you haven't seen a chicken plucker.. ck out the you tube videos.. we too have our video up there too.

Ranting about my spinach... It all died outside... but I was really encouraged to hear that Spinach can be a Fall crop.. so if you have things that haven't been "behaving" .. see if you can grow them again closer to fall.

Please share with your family on FB/Twitter thank you .. HUG
